Getting your pool ready for the season shouldn’t be stressful. Precision Pool and Spa offers a Full-Service Start Up, from start to finish, so your pool is clean, balanced, and ready to enjoy.
What’s included in a pool opening
- Spray off the safety cover and deck, store the cover in a bag
- Chlorine wash desk
- Lower safety cover anchors to sit flush with the patio (if anchors are seized, further service may be necessary)
- Remove winterizing plugs and gizmos, to be stored with the safety cover
- Skim, brush and vacuum pool- water level may need to be raised by the customer or autofill will be turned on if applicable
- Install handrails
- Start-up system (permitting no equipment malfunction)
- Shock pool with liquid chlorine
- Install UV if applicable
- Check for proper system function, report any deficiencies, required repairs, and recommendations. You do not need to be home for your opening appointment. Simply provide access to the pool area and equipment.
*If for any reason your filter system cannot be started due to equipment malfunction or failure, further service is scheduled. To ensure your system is operational, technicians may perform necessary repairs up to a set cost at the time of opening. Our opening crew does not complete service calls on the day of opening.

Precision Pool and Spa also handles full-service end-of-season closings to protect your investment through Syracuse winters.
